Visit The Kirk
We are a welcoming and inclusive community that celebrates God’s abundant love for all.
We’re community minded, loving and serving, and we would love for you to visit so we can meet you and show you around.
Entering a new church for the first time can be overwhelming. There are many unknowns and we are aware that it can be a stressful experience.
As you enter the building you will be welcomed by a Greeter, who can answer questions or direct you to the sanctuary or other rooms in the building. We encourage you to stop by the Welcome Center and get a name tag, so others in our congregation can greet you by name. There will be an opportunity for you to share your contact information, if you choose, so we can share upcoming events with you.
Our Sunday morning activities vary, but center around an hour-long worship service starting at 10 AM. Our service includes greetings and announcements, prayers and readings from the Bible, a 15-minute message, hymns and special music presented by the choir. Words of prayers and common responses will be projected on the screens in the sanctuary and are in our printed bulletins. Hearing assist devices are available.
During worship we provide childcare for Infants through 2nd grade from 9-11 AM. Activity Packets are available with coloring pages and pencils to keep older kids engaged and busy during the service. Ask at the Welcome Desk for help finding these packets.
Following worship there is a time of fellowship for social engagement with our community. Coffee and snacks are provided along with great conversation. There are also sign-ups and information on how to get involved in volunteer projects, activities and other social events.
Join us in person, on Facebook Live, or use our Zoom link. Worship anytime with Recent Services online.
Masks are Optional
Masks are always welcome, but not required at our services and events.
We have some extra one-use surgical-style masks available for worship when you arrive if you choose to wear one.
